Minorities for medical marijuana
Minorities for Medical Marijuana, Inc. (M4MM) operates as a nonprofit organization with its corporate offices located in Orlando, Florida. The organization is structured as a 501c3, boasting a dedicated Executive Team and Board of Directors that steadfastly support M4MM's overarching goals and strategic direction. Established in May 2016, M4MM currently spans the nation with 27 state directors, including a Northern California chapter based in Oakland. At the heart of M4MM's mission is a commitment to advocacy, outreach, research, and training across various facets of the cannabis industry, including business, social reform, public policy, and health and wellness.
M4MM envisions and actively works towards creating a culturally inclusive environment where diversity of thought, experience, and opportunities are not only acknowledged but also valued, respected, appreciated, and celebrated. Functioning as a vital resource for the community, M4MM offers information, referrals, advocacy, coordination, and education on cannabis legislation, events, activities, initiatives, and discussions, aligning with their dedication to fostering positive change in the cannabis landscape.
THE UNITED EMPOWERMENT PARTY
The United Empowerment Party (UEP) collaborates with both the federal government and state governments to facilitate fair and equitable policy and legislation within the cannabis industry. UEP appreciates voters and candidates irrespective of their current political affiliation, as long as they offer diverse ideas and inclusive solutions for unrestricted cannabis access. The organization believes that by embracing the community’s needs, it can reimagine how to bring about change to a system that has consistently let down those facing economic challenges. UEP aims to bring the country together on issues that impact everyone, steering away from divisive matters, and using cannabis as a means of unification.
